DescriptionDevil hand puppet made of a piece of wood that is carved at one end to form a neck and head. Light brown fiberous material is attached to the top and back of the head to form hair. A separate piece of wood that forms a long, hooked nose is attached to the face with four nails. A mouth and the outline for large, round eyes were carved out. The head and neck are painted black; the mouth and eyes are painted a deep red. The pupils of the eyes are made of with black paint.

Clothing. The puppet wears a cloak made of olive-brown fabric that is held closed with a single nail at the front of the neck. The front of the cloak was not cut evenly; the stitching that holds the cloak shut follows the crooked line of the cut. None of the edges on the costume are finished; the edges of the olive brown material, and especially the edges of the black material are fraying.
