DescriptionCylindrical tin canister with a removable lid. The canister contained several lumps of light brown wax (now stored separately). The lid (.a) is is made of a circle of tin with a thin strip of tin wrapped around one edge to form a lip; the circle is depressed down into the lip slightly. The pieces are soldered together, with the line of solder visible on top exterior of the lid. The canister (.b) is constructed the same way as the lid, but the edges of the circular bottom piece curve up into the interior slightly. A visible line of solder runs up the exterior of the canister, and around the outside bottom edge of the canister. The wax (.c) is now stored in an archival bag with the canister.
