DescriptionBag made of hand-stitched, plain-woven white cotton, with a 1 1/4-inch stripe of plain-woven red cotton stitched around the opening at the top. The bag is made of two pieces of white cotton, stitched together on the bottom and both sides. Two pieces of red cotton were folded over the white cotton, one piece on each side of the opening of the bag. Each piece of red cotton was stitched on all four sides, with a decorative stitched being used on the top side. All the stitching is done in cream colored thread. A third piece of plain-woven white cotton is stitched inside the bag, but it ends where the red fabric begins; this panel divides the interior of the bag into two compartments.
