DescriptionWooden box with a hinged lid in the center of the top side. The box is covered with faux grain, in a mix of light and dark brown. The lid pivots upward on two hinges on the left side; each hinge is secured by two screws on the lid, and two screws on the top of the box. The box is constructed of ten pieces of wood: the bottom, front, back, two short sides, and four pieces on top. The four pieces of the top are the left and right portions, the pivoting lid, and a narrow strip of wood to the left of the lid, to which the metal hinges attach. When the lid is closed, there is a gap of about 1/8 inch between the edge of the lid and the right portion of the top of the box.
