DescriptionWhite metal cylindrical cone (.a) that tapers from a narrow, flat top edge to a wider bottom. The cone is hollow. A hexagonal piece of metal, approximately 2 1/2 inches long, is inserted down into the top opening of the cone and is soldered in place. The top edge opening has been smoothed flat, so that the hexagonal piece is not visible from the exterior of the cone.
The bag (.b) that covers the cone is made of hand-stitched, plain-woven printed tan cotton. The cotton has a pattern in brown consisting of lines and dots, resembling branches or roots. The pattern runs in horizontal stripes across the fabric of the bag. The bag is made of a single piece of fabric, folded in half lengthwise, then stitched at the bottom and up one side. The opening does not have a finished edge.
