DescriptionWrapped package of playing cards, tied with a piece of white cord. The package contains 46 aces of spades. Each card is printed in blue in with thirteen stars over an eagle with outstretched wings. The banner in the eagle's mouth reads, "IVORY SURFACE". Below the eagle and banner is a decorative oval border with a single spade inside. The bottom of the border is surrounded by two crossed, leafy branches. Printed below the branches is the name, "L.I. COHEN". The back of each card is white with a light blue design. The design consists of rows of stylized six-petaled flowers alternating with small dots.

The white paper packaging has a design in blue of a steamboat on the water. Steam issues from two stacks. An American flag flies at the bow. A banner above the steamboat reads, "STEAMBOATS". Below the water, the name "L.I. COHEN is printed". The initials "L.I.C." are printed at the top and at the bottom of the whole pattern. The back of the package has the hand-written pencil inscription, "Ace of Spades". The packaging is wrapped with a thin white cord.
