DescriptionPresentation drawing of a synagogue with stained glass windows, Romanesque decorative details, and a golden dome surmounted by a weathervane in the shape of a Star of David. Men, women, boys, and girls are on the sidewalks and grassy lawns, and in the street in front of the building. An automobile is parked by the curb. Trees and flowering shrubs are at left and right. A flock of birds is in the sky.
NotesSubject Note: It is not known if Golden Storrs & Co. received the commission for the synagogue, or if the synagogue was ever built to these plans. The drawing could be a competition drawing. (Finlay 2/23/2007)
