DescriptionFatigue-green rubber overshoes, with open sides and open heel. The vamp is constructed in three parts: a flap over the toe, and two sides, which all lace together with a matching rubber-coated cotton shoelace through metal eyelets. The back of the overshoe has a vertical extension on either side of the foot; these extensions are molded in one with a connecting horizontal strip across the back. The rubber (or plastic) sole is studded with 3/8-inch diameter metal studs for traction, probably on rocky river bottoms, as these overshoes are presumably for fly fishing.
