DescriptionWhite leather toddler's shoes, with a T-strap which fastens on the outside of the foot below the ankle with a white mother of pearl metal shank button. The vamp is mocassin-stitched, with the edges of the leather cut with small scallops to imitate the effect of hand-done blanket stitching. The top of the shoe is cut with five narrow, pointed scallops, in a semicircular arrangement. The heel stiffener is brown leather. The upper is unlined. The inner sole is coarsely woven hemp, with white cotton wadding over it. The sock linings are missing. The soles are shaped for the right and left feet.
